A washed-up musician on a neverending tour is desperate to recapture the fleeting fame he experienced in the 1970s. Gigging from town to town, he meets a mysterious woman whose beautiful voice might be the ticket to his comeback, but she has a secret that could threaten Jack’s plan.
Set in the rural Pacific Northwest of the United States, the film weaves documentary elements into the narrative to reveal a unique look at American life. Jaime Leopold, an original member of Dan Hicks and the Hot Licks, plays the aging alt-folk troubadour. -CM
