Description

Located on the coast of Baja, California, the small Mexican town of Todos Santos is threatened by a multi-national corporation that is building a gigantic hotel and condo complex that will deplete the town’s water supply and force its fishermen off the beach. The town’s residents stand up to a bully corporation with the help of a young Mexican-American attorney and environmental activist. Meanwhile the developers collude with the local politicians to divide the town and threaten imprisonment. This inspiring grassroots activist story plays out through twists and turns as the courageous citizens fight to protect their livelihood and their heritage. In English and Spanish with English subtitles (USA, 2018, 84 min., Documentary) Preceded by Nueva Vida.
