As entertaining as it is educational, this fast-paced documentary follows nine high school students from around the globe as they navigate rivalries, setbacks, and hormones on their quest to win the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair. After qualifying in one of the 425 regional competitions, they advance to Los Angeles where they compete among 1700 finalists from more than 75 countries in what is considered the “Olympics of science fairs.” From creating a fuel-efficient airplane to preventing the spread of the Zika virus to early detection of cancer, this documentary shows us how today’s youth are creating a better future.
