An experimental short celebrating black women’s hair styling in New York City, Split Ends I Feel Wonderful chops and weaves found footage with affectionate nods to blaxploitation flicks and kaleidoscopic psychedelia. This film was recognized with the 2013 Tom Berman Award for Most Promising Filmmaker at the 51st Ann Arbor Film Festival in 2013.
