“I place a razor in my mouth whilst telling a monologue of my childhood art experiences. At the end of the video, I remove the razor blade from my mouth. The deepest love between my mum and I is always linked by pain. Although it sounds more like personal experience or autobiographical story, it contains the experience of growing up and the fate of my generation. What I am looking at is not only the sad and lonely camera, but also our parents and ourselves. They are not on the scene, but you can still feel their existences.” – MQ
