Description

Ursula K Le Guin (1929-2018) was a leading voice in the genres of fantasy and science fiction, her novels blending real-world and fantastic themes in order to push the boundaries of literature and societal discourse. While Ursula herself was a groundbreaking force in both storytelling and the grand dialogue of feminism, culture, and the layers of humanity, her work has largely gone unnoticed in mainstream media. But director Arwen Curry sets the record straight through beautiful animations of Le Guin's words and interviews from a handful of those her work inspired, such as Margaret Atwood, Michael Chabon and Neil Gaiman. A love letter to a true master of imagination, Worlds will take audiences on a journey through Ursula's personal history and career, making for a look inside a creative mind whose celebration is past due.
