In the Chilean capital of Santiago resides the country's oldest skatepark, Los Reyes, a.k.a "The Kings." However, unexpectedly this documentary feature from Bettina Perut and Iván Osnovikoff doesn't focus on the history of the locale or the humans that frequent the park; instead the spotlight is on the two street dogs, Chola and Football, who have long made Los Reyes their home. A tender and cinematic portrait of life in Los Reyes, the dogs regularly interact with other locals, including young skateboarders who come to chat amongst themselves and practice their kickflips, cityfolk and other animals. An inseparable pair, Chola and Football are our eyes into the world of Los Reyes. Filming the pair and the humans around them over the course of two years, this documentary makes the truth about Chola and Football clear--Los Reyes is their kingdom.
