Minnesota has been home to and produced many filmmakers working in all aspects and disciplines of filmmaking, who, over the course of their careers, have tirelessly pursued the highest levels of artistic achievement in the cinematic arts. Each year, the Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival recognizes one of these Minnesotan filmmakers with a Cinematic Arts Tribute and presents a focused retrospective on some of their most groundbreaking works. MSPIFF 2019 is proud to honor the work of screenwriter, producer, and director Scott Z. Burns. Conversation with Scott Z. Burns – Saturday, April 20, Noon - 1:30pm
