Thirteen Sundays, summer through fall, featuring well-loved classics, beneath the stars and above the streets of Iowa City. You never know what we’ll add to each screening to butter up your Rooftop experience. Join us for these very fun, special shows, and buy tickets early as seating is limited, and Rooftop shows do sell out! Doors open with seating and pre-show fun at 8pm. Screening at dusk. In the case of inclement weather, the screening will occur indoors.

In this 1980s sci-fi classic, small-town California teen Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) is thrown back into the '50s when an experiment by his eccentric scientist friend Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) goes awry. Traveling through time in a modified DeLorean car, Marty encounters young versions of his parents, and must make sure they fall in love or he'll cease to exist. Even more dauntingly, Mary has to return to his own time and save the life of Doc Brown.
