10th Anniversary Screening! :: 2019 Inspiring Lives Award

Oscar-nominated Pete Postlethwaite stars as a man living in the devastated future world of 2055, looking back at old footage from our time and asking: why didn't we stop climate change when we had the chance?

Ten years ago, this film inspired SF Green Film Festival Founder Rachel Caplan to launch the first Festival - proof that film has the power to ignite change and galvanize action. The screening Rachel attended in 2010 was about more than watching a movie: people were excited about getting together, sharing stories on screen, and talking about pressing environmental issues. By building on this movement, we can take action to avoid being the age of stupid.
