Join us for a community open house in celebration of the greatest small city for the arts. Hosted by FilmScene and The Englert Theatre, we are gathering over a dozen local arts organizations for hands-on arts activities, a virtual reality demonstration, and a community animation project hosted by FilmScene’s summer camp animation expert Mark Jones.

Of course, we also invite you and your family to take a tour of our new space—find your new favorite seats in our two large theaters, imagine the possibilities for our community microcinema, see where the magic happens in our projection booth, and meet our staff to talk movies.

It’s a celebration of art and community as we unveil the Midwest’s most modern cinema.
