James Duval (Doom Generation, Donnie Darko) is Robert Harmon, a man drinking, drugging, and fucking his way through the last days of print journalism in Los Angeles. As the industry tanks and the paper is sold to a corporate tycoon, Robert finds himself adrift in a world that is part Kafka, part Bret Easton Ellis, with an echo of Scientology. Directed by Gregory Hatanaka (Mad Cowgirl, IndieFest ‘06) and starring Pollyanna McIntosh (The Woman) and Dominique Swain (Lolita) as some of Robert's many love interests, Blue Dream is a collision course with power, intrigue, and a sea of improbable breast implants.
