Pavel returns to his rural family home to attend the burial of his mother, Valentina. But his father, Vassil, a blustering artist used to getting his own way, insists that Valentina is calling him from the afterlife and insists that Pavel to drive him to visit a New Age shaman who can help decipher the mystery.

Perfectly balancing between comedy and tragedy, Kristina Grozeva and Petar Valchanov’s newest film is a father/son road trip that examines Bulgaria’s modernism and its tenacious insistence on believing the old myths, even ones dressed up in new clothing. “This off-the-map road movie is a humane, compassionate, character-driven delight.” --Hollywood Reporter
