When his father dies suddenly, Amra and his mother Zaya have to find a way to survive on the often harsh Mongolian steppes. To make matters worse, gold mining threatens both their livelihood herding goats… and Amra’s dream to be on Mongolia’s Got Talent.

12-year-old Amra is an average kid, going to school during the day and helping his parents with their goat herd in the afternoon. But when his father, a cornerstone in the community, meets tragedy, Amra’s world falls apart. Racked with guilt, he feels the need to step into his father’s shoes, financially supporting the family and preventing a large mining company from ruining his homeland--all the while abandoning his dreams of performing a traditional Mongolian song his father taught him on Mongolia’s Got Talent. From acclaimed Mongolian director Byambasuren Davaa comes a tale of resistance and hope.
