About the film
WATCH MOVIE
This moving documentary follows the passionate reporters of the Eagle Eye (the student run newspaper at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School) and their work to cover the school shooting and the NRA.
These young reporters, and the student protesters who inspired them to write at length about assault rifles and the work to keep them legal, work as hard as just about any reporter, doggedly trying to get to the bottom of the story that so impacted their lives. But Maribeth Romslo’s film shows us that these students are not alone, as they carry on the tradition of Tinker vs. Des Moines in the 60’s and the growing movement of young people seeking social change. From Black Lives Matter to Greta Thunberg’s fight to stop global warming, these young voices will not be silenced.
