An SF Sketchfest Tribute celebrating “The In-Laws”

SF Sketchfest pays tribute to iconic actor Alan Arkin with a live onstage conversation between Arkin and comedian and friend Kevin Pollak, recorded live in 2014 at SF Sketchfest to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the classic comedy The In-Laws. Arkin launched his career with Chicago’s famed improvisational revue Second City, and from then on has been recognized as an actor of great talent and versatility on the stage and screen. Winner of the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the indie hit Little Miss Sunshine, his career highlights include Argo, Slums of Beverly Hills, Glengarry Glen Ross, Catch-22 and more. Written by the great Andrew Bergman and directed by Arthur Hiller, The In-Laws follows the travails of a middle-class dentist (Arkin) who finds himself thrown together with a delusional CIA agent (Peter Falk) when their children decide to get married.
