Pushing Dead is followed by a virtual conversation with the film's director, Tom E. Brown. The discussion begins after the credits of the film.
"A character-over-plot piece, Pushing Dead is warm, entertaining and, suprisingly rather delightful." - Charlotte Harrison, Vulture Hound
"Tom E. Brown weaves an interesting tale that sucks the viewer in from the opening sequence. Brown manages to hit upon important issues such as the less-than-ideal Affordable Care Act and life with now often-overlooked HIV." - Alexander Ryll, Gay Essential
"Director Tom E. Brown takes on a cruel, absurdly structured medical system with a light touch and gentle humanity."- IndieWire
