The Costumes
of Wes Anderson
Explore the vibrant and fascinating
world of costume design through the eyes of Wes Anderson and his design
teams. Together, we will be delving into a number of Anderson's most recognized
films to analyze how he and his collaborators worked together to help shape the
timeless look of each of their respective characters. (Bottle Rocket, Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, The Darjeeling Limited, Moonrise Kingdom, and The Grand Budapest Hotel). Through color
and characterization, we'll explore what a costume designer does and the
process of designing for film. Through this, we aim to delve into and better
understand what Wes Anderson envisions for each of his characters.
