Director Biography
Justin C. Ayd is an independent filmmaker based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is interested in telling small-scale stories about the intimate and revealing complexities of human existence in both narrative and documentary form.
Over the last decade, Justin has written and directed two feature films and a number of shorts. He is currently working with his wife and producing partner Jennifer on a feature documentary about the residents of a small town in Northern Minnesota.
In addition to his film, commercial, and video work, Justin is also the Film Specialist and Projectionist at the Minneapolis Walker Art Center, and assists with 70mm exclusives at Emagine Willow Creek in Plymouth, a suburb of Minneapolis.
