Lina Wang’s experimental debut, ‘A First
Farewell’, blurs the lines between narrative and documentary as it chronicles
the lives of Uyghur children in Xinjiang. Isa, an elementary school student
from China’s Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, must learn to say farewell as
his carefree childhood fades away and his generation of young Uyghur children

page and sign in to your Cinema Arts online account and the “Click to Stream”
link should appear. You may also follow the “Click to Stream” link from your
email order confirmation. Once a viewing is begun, the ticketholder will have
72 hours to complete it.
We recommend using the
most updated version of the Google Chrome browser on your computer or mobile
device to stream content offered directly through the Cinema Arts Centre
website. Streaming to a smart TV is recommended with an HDMI cable connection.
Most smart TVs do not support wireless casting from the website.
