A modern day fairytale, horror story and parable, Petite Maman is the story of Nelly, an eight-year-old whose beloved grandmother dies. Nelly worries she did not properly say goodbye to her. While her parents are absorbed in their own grief and problems, Nelly takes a walk the woods near her grandmothers house.

While in the woods Nelly meets Marion (played by Nelly's real-life twin). From there a magical connection is made as Nelly learns about her grandmother.

A feel good movie about death, what could be a better fit for these times?
