Description

Link is a Two Spirit teenager raised by an abusive father. When he discovers that his mother, whom he’s been told is dead, may be alive, he runs away with his half-brother in search of her and his Mi’kmaw heritage. As the pair hit the road, they meet Pasmay, another Two Spirit, who offers his help and acceptance.

Link and his half-brother Travis are simultaneously on a journey to find Link’s mother and on the run from their destructive father. On the road without transportation, they meet Pasmay, who not only has a truck but is attractive to boot. Link’s journey is one of self-discovery–as an Indigenous Canadian, as a gay teen, and as a human seeking love and respect.
