Celebrating short films inspired by Nantucket. The Nantucket Shorts Festival takes place at The Nantucket Dreamland in the Main Theater on Sunday, October 8th. We will be screening short films between 2 and 10 minutes in length that were either filmed on or inspired by Nantucket. Participants range from experienced to first-time filmmakers.

This year we have had a record number of entries ranging from narrative, documentary and of course, comedy.

The show is emceed by John Shea who will moderate a discussion with the filmmakers after the screening and present the Audience Award for Favorite Film as well as a new award for Best New Filmmaker.
