"The Most Worshipped Comedy of Its Generation." -Rolling Stone

Rarely has a movie captivated people's hearts and minds like THE BIG LEBOWSKI. Fans of the Coen Brothers' 1998 film have adopted The Dude's (Jeff Bridges) mannerisms and lifestyle so much, that they even celebrate the character and the film at a yearly festival, filled with costumed characters and enough White Russians to satisfy any thirsty bearded patron. It is a perfect midnight film that improves with repeated viewings to fully understand (if possible) the underlying genius of the Coen Brothers. As the story goes, Jeff "Dude" Lebowski is caught up in a case of mistaken identity with a millionaire with the same name. Hilarity and hijinks abound, as The Dude tries to find a new rug, enlisting his bowling friends in the task. The late film critic Roger Ebert called the movie "weirdly engaging, like its hero."
