As the winner of numerous gold and silver medals in NCAA gymnastics tournaments, including the Nissen Emery Award, their highest honor, one would think that Shane would have the support of his university. But the pandemic changes everything, and he is forced to train independently, and in order to reach the Olympic trials, he will have to succeed in the U.S. Championships. Director Biography

Steven Nye is a documentary filmmaker from Minneapolis. He is the director of the short documentary films “El Paquete Semanal” (2017), “American Air Boss” (2021) and “A Day in the Life of a Stunt Pilot” (2021). Losing Grip (2023) is his debut documentary feature.
