But does A Nightmare On Elm Street burst into musical numbers at every opportunity? NO! Boiler rooms, cobwebbed corridors, banging tunes, beachfront dancing, unholy rituals, waterbeds, a gruff cop-dad with a terrible secret, razored hands bursting out of walls and floors, a giant evil demon ball made of bodies much like Michele Soavi’s THE CHURCH, plus Michael Jackson (?).
