Li Koryu (ETSUKO SHIHOMI) is a young half-Chinese half-Japanese martial artist on a mission: find her brother who went missing while investigating a drug ring run by deadly fighters of various styles and techniques. In order to take them down she’ll need to the help of a fellow karate master (The Street Fighter’s SONNY CHIBA).
After having just a small cameo in Toei Studio’s wildly successful THE STREET FIGHTER, Etsuko Shiomi’s explosive lead debut launched a brand new martial arts franchise, including sequels helmed by Kazuhiko Yamaguchi (WOLF GUY) and original series director Shigehiro Ozawa. A welcome departure from the traditionally male-dominated action films of the time, SISTER STREET FIGHTER packs just as mean a punch and then some! -Brandon Lim
