Cult Cafe will now be held in the theater on the big screen!
The quintessential film about 70’s rock written and directed
by Cameron Crowe based on his own experiences as a teenage rock
journalist for Rolling Stone. William Miller (Patrick Fugit) is a 15
year old prodigy living with his overprotective widowed mother Elaine (Frances
McDormand) and rebellious older sister Anita (Zooey Dechanel). When
Anita runs of to become a flight attendant, she leaves William a secret cache
of rock albums, that inspire him to be a rock journalist, while reviewing a
Black Sabbath concert for Lester Bangs (Philip Seymour Hoffman), he
meets up-and-coming act Stillwater and veteran groupie Penny Lane (Kate
Hudson, who take a liking to him. Rolling Stone magazine assigns him to
follow Stillwater on their tour for an article on the band. Also starring Billy
