ONE LIFE tells the incredible true story of Nicholas “Nicky” Winton, a young London broker who helps rescue hundreds of predominantly Jewish children from Czechoslovakia in a race against time before Nazi occupation closes the borders on the verge of World War II. Fifty years later, Nicky (Sir Anthony Hopkins) is haunted by the fate of those he wasn’t able to bring to safety. (UK, 2023, 110 mins, PG, English | Dir. James Hawes)

Following the screening, Peter Suchmann - a Board member of the Kindertransport Association - will speak briefly about his parents who were both saved by the Kindertransport which carried them from Vienna, Austria to England and then introduce Mannfred “Manny” Korman - of Great Neck N.Y, 92 years-old, who will recall his personal, miraculous experiences as a child refugee separated from his family in Germany as the Nazis’ undertook a systematic slaughter of 6 million Jews.
