ONE LIFE tells the incredible
true story of Nicholas “Nicky” Winton, a young London broker who helps rescue
hundreds of predominantly Jewish children from Czechoslovakia in a race against
time before Nazi occupation closes the borders on the verge of World War II.
Fifty years later, Nicky (Sir Anthony Hopkins) is haunted by the fate of those

Following the screening, Peter
Suchmann - a Board member of the Kindertransport Association - will speak
briefly about his parents who were both saved by the Kindertransport which
carried them from Vienna, Austria to England and then introduce Mannfred
“Manny” Korman - of Great Neck N.Y, 92 years-old, who will recall his
personal, miraculous experiences as a child refugee separated from his family
in Germany as the Nazis’ undertook a systematic slaughter of 6 million Jews.
