Description

In the 1960s and 70s, Anita Pallenberg was a mother, style icon, actress and influencer. Using her unpublished memoir as a basis, this brilliant documentary shows her impact on The Rolling Stones, cinema, fashion, and reveals a woman ahead of her time.

Anita Pallenberg worked with filmmakers as varied as Jean-Luc Godard, Roger Vadim, and Harmony Korine, and spent time at Warhol’s Factory, but is probably best remembered as a lover of the Rolling Stones’ Brian Jones and, later, Keith Richards, with whom she had three children. But her influence on the band was legendary, culminating in their remixing “Beggars Banquet” from her suggestions. Directors Svetlana Zill and Alexis Bloom plumb her unpublished memoirs to reveal one of the most influential women in history.

“The radiant and compelling Pallenberg finally gets her due as a creative force in her own right.” —Matthew Carey, Deadline Hollywood Daily
