The films are hot, but the Revue’s AC will be cranked for the ten films in this summer’s Heat Wave lineup.
Heat Wave at the Revue Cinema, a lineup of the greatest summer movies ever made, continues on June 26th with the hot and gritty VIGILANTE FORCE with an introduction by Trailer Trash curator, NATHAN BOONE!
They hired themselves a hero ... and bought themselves a world of trouble.
“A hot & gritty 1970’s country-fried vigilante thriller that brings the Vietnam war home. Filled with old-school stunts, bar brawls, and a constantly shirtless Kris Kristoffersen. You won’t want to miss this drive-in exploitation trip down south.”
- NATHAN BOONE
In a small town in California, the quiet citizens have had their lives disrupted by boisterous, lawless oil-field workers who have infested their community. One resident, Ben Arnold (Jan-Michael Vincent), enlists his brother Aaron (Kris Kristofferson), a Vietnam veteran, to assemble a group of men to restore law and order to the town. Though Aaron's crew succeeds, the newfound power goes to some of their heads, and things quickly spiral out of control.
