Writer/Director Lucky McKee (THE WOODS, THE WOMAN) deftly walks a delicate tightrope of conjoining a somewhat traditional horror tale with pitch-black humour and heartbreaking pathos. Angela Bettis' (12 HOUR SHIFT) portrayal of May is nuanced and passionate, making her believable and sympathetic, despite her burgeoning darker nature. MAY is most definitely a little weird, and we really like weird. (STEVEN LANDRY)
