Details
When GOON was released, audiences needed a sincere and earnest character like Doug Glatt (Seann William Scott). Not since Slap Shot and Happy Gilmore had there been a movie as rough and tumble and full of heart as GOON. The male toxicity in the film is subverted, so you’ll go from simply wincing at the blood and violence to being moved to cheer for the Halifax Highlanders. This flick will make you laugh hard, swoon romantically, and feel a sense of pride for our national game. It’s the perfect story to enjoy together and kick off the new year feeling great! See ya at the movies!
