The hunt will begin at 9:00 am and is free and open to the public. You are highly encouraged to come as early as 8:00 am if you’d like to catch the horses gather at the house! Tailgating is welcome! Please gather in the front parking lot at the entrance to the Boyd House at 555 Connecticut Ave. (please use the Connecticut Ave. entrance).
Stay and meet Hunt member Daniel Schubert and meet his horse! He will be free for questions and to learn more about the Moore County Hounds.
The Barn will be open after the hunt leaves for a chance to meet the Weymouth horses and the kids.
Dine after the dash! Stay at Weymouth Center for a traditional hunt breakfast featuring a buffet-style brunch and an open bar featuring beer, wine, mimosas, and Bloody Marys. Enjoy stepping back in time for a traditional hunt breakfast like the Boyds would have hosted.
This will be an indoor/outdoor event with a tent on the grounds of Weymouth. All proceeds will benefit Weymouth Equestrians, our after-school program that aims to create access to horses and the equestrian experience for all youth.
