Wrap up the evening with other festival attendees, filmmakers, festival staff, and AAFF members at a different and exciting venue each night of the festival.

Prior to the screening, Karilú Forshee and Steve Jarosz perform “¡Ay Carmela!” and “Si Se Calla el Cantor.”

Kick off the festival with cocktails and food from Arbor Brewing Company, Beam Suntory, Bona Sera, Bigalora, Café Zola, El Harissa, Logan, Tavolina, TeaHaus, Unity Vibration, and White Lotus Farms. Open bar and live DJ set by Jeremy Wheeler. Admission includes the Films in Competition 1 screening.

This reception for North Quad exhibitions features Lily Baldwin and Saschka Unseld’s VR artwork Through You, Peter Rose’s 3-D/6-D video Towards a Six-Dimensional Cinema, and select student work.
