Third annual Spring Into Reading event to celebrate National Reading Month. Free, fun family event with vendors, crafts, activities, costume contest. There is a special presentation of "Tall Tales of Appalachia" by Connor Gerney of Encore Center. In partnership with the Southern Pines Public Library and The Country Bookshop.

Latino-American jazz pianist Joshua Espinoza and his trio blend jazz, classical, pop, and folk, earning recognition on Spotify’s State of Jazz playlist and Global Jazz Charts.

Dance, Sing, and sign with the amazing Rylee Hayes. Rylee combines movement with songs and stories. She incorporates American Sign Language into each session. The fun always concludes with a bubble dance. All ages welcome.

Treat yourself to a day of self care with yoga, sound bath, Qigong, Intention setting & a delicious lunch. Beginner to advanced, all are welcome. Instructors: Severine Hutchins, Ally Markotich, and Emily Whittle will guide you through a relaxing day in a beautiful setting.

Weymouth Equestrians Presents: Hug-A-Horse! Saturday, March 28 There will be two sessions: 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM At the Weymouth Center for the Arts & Humanities Barn Get up close and personal with the horses of Weymouth! Join us for Hug-A-Horse, a special hands-on event where participants will: — Learn about the Weymouth Equestrians Program — Discover the basics of horsemanship — Participate in grooming and caring for the horses This is not a riding event, but a wonderful chance to interact with horses in a friendly, educational setting. All ages are welcome – children, families, and horse lovers of all kinds! Free and open to the public — advance registration required. Limited to 15 participants per session.

The Women of Weymouth meets on the first Wednesday of the month from September to May. Each meeting features an invited speaker or program. Social time begins at 11:00. The business meeting begins at 11:15 am and is followed by the month’s featured speaker. This month's featured speaker is Jason Harpster, accredited American Orchid Society judge.

Join us on Saturday, May 2, for a Derby Day to remember! Benefiting the Weymouth Equestrians program, the afternoon will feature a free and open to the public Show Jumping Invitational from 2:00–5:00 p.m., followed by a ticketed Derby Watch Party from 5:00-8:00 pm. Your support of Horses Benefit Kids helps fund opportunities for young people to learn to ride and care for horses on Weymouth’s historic grounds.
