One of the Smithsonian Magazine's "Ten Innovators to Watch" in 2021, Barron Ryan will be performing his work 'There Arises Light in the Darkness." Commissioned in 2021 to commemorate the Tulsa Race Massacre, Ryan will perform this haunting piece, composed for a trio, along with violinist Christopher Shipley and cellist Alex Cox.
