Another Day of Life (Un día más con vida)

In 1975, journalist Richard Kapuscinski arrives in Angola to cover that country’s bloody civil war but makes a fateful decision to cross boundaries as a reporter in this brilliant mix of animation and live action, based on the classic memoir and winner of the 2019 Goya Award for Best Animated Film.

En 1975, el periodista Richard Kapuscinski llega a Angola para cubrir la sangrienta guerra civil que tiene lugar en ese país. Opening Night of Cine Latino will feature films from Spain, Mexico, and Colombia. Cine Latino kicks off in Pracna’s Fireside Room, adjacent to St. Anthony Main Theatre. This hosted reception features delicious appetizers provided by Popol Vuh,and wine provided by Amigos de España. Special guests include diplomatic guests from Mexico, Spain, and Colombia. Admission is included with tickets to the Official Opening Night Presentation of Lives with Flavor, screening at 7:00pm.

CLUES Shorts

Created at the CLUES Visiones Filmmaking Workshop, an intensive summer workshop that enabled participants, ages 16-19, to discover new talents and a passion for storytelling while learning skills in scriptwriting, sound recording, cinematography, lighting, and editing. The films explored topics such as identity, belonging and the immigrant experience.

CLUES shorts will be screening along with feature length films. Tickets to CLUES shorts come with a purchase of a ticket to its corresponding feature film.
