On Tuesday July 17th, Kung Fu Theater presents a Kung Fu Double Feature!  A rare 35mm print of the martial arts masterpiece Snake in the Eagle's Shadow (at 7:30pm), and the only known 35mm print of the incredibly obscure Sabertooth Dragon Vs. the Fiery Tiger (at 9:30pm).

Snake in the Eagle's Shadow (1978) Yuen Woo-Ping's kung fu masterpiece stars Jackie Chan in his breakthrough role!  The evil Eagle Claw clan are out to destroy all who practice snakefist kung fu.  Jackie Chan plays an orphan who befriends an old drunken  master of the snakefist style.  As we head towards the inevitable showdown, we'll see a slew of kung fu fights, a classic snakefist training sequence, an evil high-kicking Eagle Claw master, a kung fu Jesus, and a death-match between a cat and a cobra!  This is one of the greatest kung fu movies of all time.

Sabertooth Dragon Vs. the Fiery Tiger (1977) When a newly appointed king abuses his power, a group of young fighters begin planning a kung fu coup.  Suspicious of his subjects, the king outfits his palace with mind-boggling booby traps and lethal weaponry.  The young fighters set out to kill the king, but also must cope with kung fu bodyguards and a group of Tibetan assassins armed with flying guillotines.
