The blood starts flowing in tonight’s Zompire Double Feature with Sunset on the River Styx, written and directed by Aaron Pagniano, winner of the 2019 Funny Bone Award for “We Got a Monkey’s Paw!” Sunset is a dramatic departure from the horor savvy short film. And Pagniano’s directing style matches perfectly with his visual aesthetics which shine in this highly visual and sensory cinematic experience.

Starring Phillip Andre Botello and Jaqueline Jandrell, a chance meeting of two morose lovers sends them spiraling down a surreal rabbit hole. Their relationship is challenged by their pasts, their futures, their perception of time, and a vampire death cult.
